Here is my second 12′ square.  This one did not come near as easily as the first one did! The biggest problem was trying to figure out which stitches I wanted to use.  After several attempts at making a flower that was not turning out anywhere close to what I was picturing in my head; I decided it was time to go in a completely new direction.

Now something you may not know about me is I like to push myself; so I figured why not learn a new stitch!? So after searching around a bit I came across the Bullion Stitch.  This stitch is a beautiful, but apparently it is a bit of a challenge to master; and I now was down to 3 days to master this stitch and design a square using it.  Can we say ‘procrastinate much’?  But, that’s okay; I love the rush as a deadline quickly approaches.

Don’t forget to Favorite this design and add it to your Library in Raverly!

You may need to push the CH3 from Round 2&3 to the back of your work.

With each color change you will finish off and Invisible Join. You can see in the photos below why I have chosen to do this instead of carrying the yarn up each row. The photo on the bottom has a much nicer look than the photo on the top where you can see the different joining’s.
