Hockey season is in full swing!  So I thought it only fitting to finally make this beautiful blanket.

The blanket was completed using the Tunisian Afghan stitch, I could have made it using the Single Crochet stitch but I wanted to keep the lines nice and sharp.

Stitches used:
Tunisian Afghan Stitch
Changing Colors Part1 and Part2

I used Loops and Thread Impeccable
White 3 skeins
Black 1 partial skein
Yellow 1 partial skein
Blue 1 partial skein
Red 1 partial skein
Cro-Hook – with a rubber band placed around one end to keep the loops from coming off.

Gauge: Not important for this project

Finished size:  About 3×4

The finished size will vary depending on what size hook and weight of the yarn used.

Of course you can change the blue and yellow boarder to reflect your favorite Hockey team!  I am so happy with the outcome! Go Blues!Hockey Rink
Make it a complete customized set of your favorite team for the little Hockey player in your life by adding this cute Hockey Helmet and Leg Warmers by Stitch 11!Hockey

Make sure you add it to your Raverly Favorites and Library!

I am still working on mastering how to keep the edges from curling which is a common issue with the Tunisian Afghan Stitch.  Wonder if you could do the first few (and last) rows in SC but switch over to Tunisian when the color changing begins?
