I first saw this beautiful design in Hookers Anonymous  and noticed that a very talented designer was looking for a few crocheters to test her video tutorial for this stunning piece.
Love Triangle Shawl
So naturally I was super excited when the designer, Dearest Debi, asked if I still was interested.
Heart Love Triangle
This video is amazing, and so easy to follow.  This was actually my first time working a crochet pattern from a video and Dearest Debi made it so easy (and may have spoiled me)!  Debi speaks very clearly and is easily understood and is careful not to crochet so quickly that you cant follow her stitch placement.  She also provides a graph if you prefer to work patterns that way.

Materials I used:
Red Heart Unforgettable – Just over 1 skein
5.5mm Hook
Straight Pins

Gauge: Not really that important but if your curious
1Heart – 2 x 2 1/2 inches

I used lots of straight pins for this! and put 2 pins in almost every heart.  This way I made sure that they dried in the correct Heart shape

I did a total of 14 hearts for the first row which gave me a finished size approximately of 57×30 once it was fully stretched and blocked.  It was only 47wide prior to blocking.

If you only have 1skein to work with then I would recommend only doing 12 for your starting row and you should be able to finish the project with a bit of yarn left over.  Would make your shawl approximately 40 inches wide, prior to blocking.

Unforgettable Broomstick Lace Shawl

This was my first time working with Red Hearts Unforgettable yarn, and it will not be my last!  It is so soft, beautiful and I L O V E the way the variegated yarn so slowly changes colors!  There is such a loose twist in the yarn that it almost has an ‘eye lash’ look.  I love the way the finished product looks and cant wait to start my next using this yarn! Broomstick Lace Shawl
I am calling this a Shawl instead of a Scarf because of the width of the item.  That being said, this is one of those patterns that you can modify with no problem; so, if you would prefer a narrower finished project simply start out by doing fewer chains.
